Predictions Made About: Galad

Rating: 1.8

Being as Galad is the half brother of Rand, it is actually his blood that will be shed at Shayol Ghul.

By Jeff237 on 2010-11-21

Rating: 6.6

Intended from the beginning to help the White Tower (Whitecloaks), which has women in it he cares so much about. They will convince him not to kill Rand and when he meets Rand the fact that they are brothers will come up, motivating Rand since he has a brother, and being a crucial factor in the LB aside from Whitecloak aid.

By Myth on 2010-09-29

Rating: 7.4

Galad, after killing Valda, will become commander of a separate faction of whitecloaks, that will stand for what they were meant for, and will be pivotal in the last battle, and in the reconstruction of the world afterwards.

By Thom as cain on 2010-06-26

Rating: 8.29

The man in a white cloak that Min saw in her viewing of Berelain is Galad.

By Linnemir on 2009-11-02

Rating: 5

Galad will lead the Children of the Light in a glorious and fatal charge at Shayol Ghul. Their sacrifice will be critical in buying Rand the time he needs to defeat the Dark One.

By kivo on 2009-11-01

Rating: 4.67

Will lead his Children of the Light against the other armies of the Children in the Last Battle, but will do so on the side of the Dragon, in juxtaposition to the other Children who believe Rand is the Dark One or some such thing through trickery, or a Darkfriend leader, like Valda or maybe Demandred.

By mako0424 on 2006-08-26

I predict that Galad can channel. Maybe, Galad being Galad, he will use his channelling to aid Rand as it would be the "right" thing to do?

By Mistress of the Ships on 2006-04-22

Rating: 2.91

we will find that galad is a gentled channeler, explaining his cold lifeless attitude, his dislike of aes sedai, elaida and red ajah being morgases advisors, thoms "nephew" that was gentled and why he was banished(morgase chose elaida the red over thom, who may have tried murdering elaida),he uses swordmanship and being a goody goody to fill the void left by gentling

Will give up his life during the Last Battle to save Rand (doing what is right)

By IkilledAsmodean on 2005-10-28

The Whitecloaks are one of the x factors in my mind. I think that Rand will approach Galad and they will unite their two factions, reasoning for this being that they are half brothers.

By Azamael on 2005-10-19

Rating: 2.38

I predict that Galad and Rand will never know about their half brother relationship. Furthermore, I predict they will never meet over the course of these last two books.

By Dreamwolf on 2005-09-08

Galad will duel Rand before the end of the series. Rand may or may not kill Galad.

By William Seeker on 2005-08-26

Rating: 2.8

Galad is the Blood of the Dragon on the rocks of Shayol Ghul; because sacrificing himself to stop the DO is the ULTIMATE right thing to do.

By Shien of the Taardad on 2005-07-22

Rating: 2.55

Galad will be made the new King of Carhien. Andor is enough for Elayne.
Rand will agree because he's his brother.

By Shaitan on 2005-07-04

Rating: 5.08

Galad with Bornhald, Byar, and an envoy of the new white cloaks that serve under Galad will run into Perrin and his people b4 they attempt to save Faile. I'm not sure what will happen between Byar, Bornhald and perrin,(maybe a truce finaly?), but they will help with the rescue because Tallanvor will tell Galad about his mother. Upon rescue, Berelain will see her man in all white (Galad) and fall head over heals for him. Than Morgase will be re-united with Elayne, maybe cementing her claim to the throne, and it will clear Rands name, helping him with uniting the world for Tarmon Gaidin, plus he wont have to worry about Gawyn anymore.

By Shaitan on 2005-06-14

In KOD Galad will ally with Rodel Ituralde against the Seanchan. The Wolf's plan didn't anticipate this one.

By kcf on 2005-06-13

Rating: 6.8

Will kill Valda on learning of his encounter with Morgase. Will be manipulated by Asunawa for a period.

By Kurtz on 2005-04-30

Rating: 3

Galad will be manipulated by the Shadow into serving them by making him believe that what he is doing for them is right. When he realizes what he did, he will be consumed with guilt and become a hardcore alcoholic.

By fistandantilus on 2004-10-07

Galad will Join the whitecloaks behind Perrin to Battle the Shaido and that is when he will meet and fall in love with Berelain who will likewise do the same with him.

By brother of Battles on 2004-07-14

Galad will eventually make Berelain head over heals in love with him.

By milamber on 2004-06-16

I think Galad is based off of Sr. Galahad, who found the holy grail. Is it possible that Galad will find something very important? Like a sa'angreal that looks like a cup? Or maybe something entirely differnt. But he MIGHT find something of value

I predict Galad will become the next King of Cairhien

By Naikavon on 2004-06-08

Galad will end in a tragical way, without doing anything especially good, but with really good intentions.

By a dragonburned fool on 2004-05-14

Galad will die leading the Whitecloaks into the Blight.
Berelain will marry Rolan.
This I fortell.

By Turandil on 2004-04-19

I think that Galad still has the hots for Nynaeve, and upon finding out she is on love with Lan, will fall into depression. Until he meets Berelain and they live happily ever after.

By Village Wisdom on 2004-04-06

If he doesn't marry Berelain, I'll hit him with something heavy.
If he doesn't become the Lord Commander (?) of the Whitecloaks, I'll hit him with something heavy.
If he does neither, heck I'll hit him with a whole bloody 18-wheeler!

By Aelfinn on 2004-03-10

I think that Galad will marry Leane when the White Tower (re-united) ally with the Whitecloaks- she will be an emissary(spelt wrong i believe) and will meet Galad because he is the main guy (can't remeber the word) of the Whitecloaks. Then he will quit the CHildren of the Light job and go and be Leane's Warder

Ok, In book 9 Faile is told by the Aes Sedia in the Shido camp that there was a perticular Whitecloak that was perticularly difficult to break and he eventually wept when he did. This could be Galad, and it would go along with him being in "white" via that whole Berlien prediction. He is a whitecloak and a Gai Shan? Well its possible.

By solomin on 2004-02-09

I think Galad is the man all in white that Min saw who would make Berelane fall head over heels.

By IkilledAsmodean on 2003-12-29

Galad will be after Rand in some fashion, but won't be able to kill Rand or one fo his friends because he will learn the truth. Torn between family and duty to WC, he will lead a new CotL and aid Rand. He will not "hook-up" with anyone.

I know this sounds a bit crazy, and it probably is. I have been really hyper lately. Anway what if Rand makes Galad a king? Its possible. They are related. I think they might grow to like eachother(actually I don't, but its possible) and like I said I am hyper and its late.

galad will be caught and compulsed by Graendal. Then Rand will save him and tell him he is his half-brother. Galad will then learn that his mother was in Amador and then disapeared. he will then blame it on Valda and become Lord Captain Commander of the Whitecloaks and ally them with Rand.

I personally think that Galad being a darkfriend makes a lot of sense....he could have become one when he was younger and then does all the "not lying being perfect and joining the Children of the Light". He reminds me of Ingtar and I think he may end up sacrificing himself to escape who he is.
