Predictions Made About: Moridin

Rating: 5.83

Was right that the DO can win since he has an infinite number of turnings to work with. Where he was wrong was failing to recognize that the light also has a chance of defeating the DO. This will be the FINAL Last Battle where the light wins. All other Last battles resulted in a "Draw".

Moridin is residing in the "Towers of Midnight" and has been there for a long time.

Moridin has unlocked memories of all his past lives.

Moridin was the Dragon in the Age before Lews Therin. He was turned to the Shadow and is still linked to Rand.

By Wankenstein on 2010-08-27

Rating: 1.2

Moridin is actually a part of the dragon, a balance to the side of light. Moridin and Rand will merge together (somehow with the help of callandor?). There will be an internal battle with him between rand and Moriden for control, and Rand as the dragon can only reach his full potential after securing control and becoming one with LTT and Moridin

Is Ishamael, and will kill taim, logain or cadsuane.

It´s too obvious and what gives it away as Taim being Ishamael, aka Moridin is simply the colors in his crib. His trademark black and red colors gives him away, simple as that.

Moridin will get his hands on a female choedan kal and channel the TP through it during tarmon'gaidon.

switches bodies with Rand

Moridin and Shaidar Haran share a body and (partial) awareness, like Jeckyll and Hyde or Luke and Isam. This happened because Ishy was reborn into a Myrddraal (say, SH v. 0.5): the halfmen are 'out of phase with reality', according to Aginor, and my guess is that going 'out of phase' is the cost of using the True Power. After all, the undead get the body which is the best 'fit' in some way....

Moridin's overall plot will be revealed in KoD. It will be so incredibly complex that none of us will be able to understand it.

Moridin will secretly pull the strings of the other forsaken and bring more chaos to Randland and then ar Tarmon Gai'don he will face Rand and die.

Moridin will abandon the DO at the LB and use the DO's own power to kill him.

When Moridin came to help Rand in Shadar Logoth, the two men crossed streams of balefire when attacked by Mashadar. Moridin is suffering from the same nauseau that Rand is when embracing and sometimes just even holding the True Power-In Moridin's case.(In Rand's case its the OP. If Moridin tried holding the OP the same thing would happen.)That is why every time we have seen him since he has not attempted channeling in front of anyone else.

im either crazy or onto something. what if Moridin is Rand. remember the first battle they kinda combined and what not. the crazy voice in his head is moridin, who is also Lews therin. Rand is always jumping about and gatewaying, he loses alot of his sense. Just a theory though, i know it has alot of holes. Alivia will kill Moridin, thus killing rand, but really saving him.

In an attempt to escape confining villain cliches, Moridin will abandon red and black as his livery colours and opt instead for royal purple and off-white. He will also attempt to convince any minions who will listen/are a captive audience that his saa are not black but in fact only very, very dark violet.

By dragonodare on 2003-11-15

Moridin will be killed by Rand during the Last Battle. Moridin will be waiting for Rand to come to re-seal the Bore, and Rand will walk right up to him, a big fight will ensue, and Moridin will die by Rand's hand. the death will come too late in the Battle for the DO to transmigrate the soul, so no more Moridin/Ishy.

I believe moridin is actually Taim and he is training a select few to defeat Rand. That is the reason why Dashiva turned on Rand.

By Redeema on 2000-11-13

Moridin is secretly sceeming to take over randland. He has been helping rand so that he can gain some trust, help him defeat the dark one and than after the battle has been won take control over the lands that rand holds.
