I believe that people will always believe Olver is Gaidal Cain reborn no matter what evidence is thrown against it. Jordan says straight out that Olver is not Gaidal reborn? Not good enough for them. Not even if Gaidal returns in book 12 in his new baby body, and is flat out not Olver, they still will not believe.

Olver with his advanced knowledge of Snakes and Foxes will inadvertantly enter the tower. Mat and Thom will follow him and while there they will save Moiraine. Olver will have an chance to make some wishes and will come out a grown man maybe with a closer affinity to horses.
