he Fight at Shayol Ghul

This theory is about what will happen at Shayol Ghul, until the point DIRECTLY before the actual sealing.

I have two parts to make this theory better readable. In the first part I will list the visions and prophecies fulfilled in the theory, the second part is the theory itself.

  • Callandor, held in a hand made of onyx, the part I started with when I created this theory.

  • Alivia will help Rand die.

  • Twice dawns the day when his blood is shed. Once for mourning, Once for birth. Red on black, the Dragon's blood stains the rock of Shayol Ghul. In the Pit of Doom shall his blood free men from the Shadow.

  • Two men will become one.

  • Rand will need the help of a woman dead and gone.

  • Nynaeve, kneeling over a body.

And I can also explain why Alivia escaped 400 years of Damane conditioning. I do not fulfill every prophecy and vision, but I think it is not too difficult to do that, if you've made the world yourself. So here is the theory itself:

FoM has the outcome Rand will go to Shayol Ghul, break the seals, and reseal the Dark One again. So Rand goes to Shayol Ghul in a circle with Nynaeve, and, as second (or third, whatever you want) he brings Alivia. Other people are with them. Who, that isn't important. When they are there, sunlight breaks through the clouds above Shayol Ghul. Alivia leads the circle. But there is one small problem Rand doesn't know about... She is a Darkfriend. When some Forsaken appear (at least Demandred and Moridin, the others are not important), Rand says Alivia must kill them. Instead, Alivia pulls Callandor out of Rand's hands, and gives it to Demandred. Finally smiling, he finishes Rand off. After that, the sunlight disappears (the first dawn of the day; Once for mourning; Nynaeve kneeling over a body (Rand's)).

But Rand isn't really dead. Because of the connection, he appears in Moridin's head (Much like LTT in his head, only sane). He tells Moridin what he knows from VoG. Moridin didn't knew this, and that is why he turned to the Dark One. Now, he knows there is a reason to live, and because of that, he turns back to the Light. Of course other people can't see that from the outside, even the Dark One not, and that will help him. Then, Moridin and Rand melt together. I'll call him Moridin, because it is his body. Moridin kills Demandred (with anything, as long as it is not balefire, because that would give us a paradox, and Rand and Moridin together will know that) and Alivia, then summons Cyndane and Moghedien, if they are not already there. They have to help Moridin, because he has their cour'souvra. Then it turns out that Cyndane already wanted to turn back to the light, and she offers her help to reseal the bore (this means Cyndane is the woman dead and gone). Moghedien is balefired by Nynaeve before Moridin can stop her. Also Graendal is there, at any time, and she is also finished off with balefire. This time by Moridin.

Also, as an extra thought, Moridin compels Nynaeve in an non-damaging way, so that she goes to Mat to tell him the plans of the Dark One.

Moridin and Cyndane, at the same time, go to Shayol Ghul. There, Cyndane tells it is indeed right to break the seals. She also tells them how they have to defeat the Dark One. I'm not going to talk about that part, because it would be a copy of Seed Singing the Pattern Shut (because I just love that theory). At the same time, Mat gives new orders, and he defeats all the armies of the Dark One.

I like the betrayal aspect of the theory. The end is near, bring on the Last Battle!
