each Rand How to Laugh Again

by Mael'kiserai: 1999-04-09 | Not yet rated

Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: What will Cadsuane teach Rand and the Asha'man?

Just think: What is it in PoD that Cadsuane says she wants to do? Teach Rand how to laugh again. Why won't he (and, if she teaches it to the Asha'man, they) like it? Because they think they are big and tough and they obviously don't like the Aes Sedai. So when an Aes Sedai teaches them what they should ACTUALLY be like(i.e., HUMAN!), they won't like it one bit.

Oh, yeah. Those of you who think it's linking with the Aes Sedai and how that's what they were talking about in the Age of Legends when they said, "This is the last day males and females will draw a different source." THINK! What else happened that day?!?!?! The Dark One was set free! And what can the Dark One do? Grant the ability to draw from the same source, the True Power. So, it's not linking. It's the DO.

To be human, maybe they will teach Rand that but I believe the Asha'man will have to learn a larger lesson than that. Remember, many of the Asha'man have wives and children and I am sure they know how to be human.
