Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Is Olver Gaidal Cain?

Yeesh, what a little box. Anyway, read this part and made my own mind upon the issue. I've allways seen it as rather clear that Olver is Gaidal Cain because of his describtion and his convinient introduction in the serie right after Birgitte says he's out there. Now here's something to think about for you all that claims his age is a problem.

Now, lets look at the horn. Birgitte says that all the heros of the horn are woven out and live normal lives (as normal a hero do). They also end up doing about the same thing each time, i e Birgitte and Gaidal marry. Now, if the truth were that all the heros needed to be in Tel'eran'eroid when you sound the horn, none of the heros could have left it at anytime while the horn existed, out of the pure chanse that someone might sound the horn and create an irregularity in the world (calling people that wern't there). No, I read in another part of this page about immortal souls and mortal souls being seperate (the voice in rand's head). I belive what the horn calls are those immortal souls. The 100 most legendary heros at their best time in history. This is also why they can't be wounded. You didn't see or hear about even one of those heros being close to wounded in Falme, and fighting a force like that chanse would had struck atleast one of the heros if it would had been natural!
, not to mention the one power hurled by damane.
No, they have lived many times during the years, my belive is that in their "mortal" lives they don't gain their full hero capabilities, but when the wheel is in need of such a hero they are "spun out" and interacting in the world again to sort whatever problem has occered out.

Now back to Olver. Considering abow's ideas Olver can very well have lived his 9 years, and 8 or 7 of them as a normal child. When the wheel foresaw that Birgitte would be spun out it spun out Gaidal Cain also into this boy. To keep the legend going and restore some of the chaos Mogheiden created. Being around Mat and Lan I'm sure Olver will in time get plenty of chanses to live up to his reputation.

Now i'm just curious to see who Arthur Hawkwing is. He's reincardination just gotta show up somewhere in all this also if it hasn't already.

And who's that bloody Tairien lord that allways have a shining armour, no matter if everything else around him is mud and he's spend the whole day on the battlefield?!?

Doesn't Birgitte remember the physical birthing process? There are not two souls in reborn heroes, they are the same soul born into a new body. The Pattern would have known about Birgitte way before it happened, but Gaidal wasn't reborn until just recently. It just wouldn't jive with everything we know.
