Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: What is Verin's 70 Year Plan?

I think, as some others have suggested, that Verin is the representative of a secret society within the White Tower that has been planning for the Rebirth of the Dragon. I will not be surprised at all to find out that Gitara Moroso was the "leader" of this society. This group pre-dates Moraine and Siuan, and when those two happened to be in the room when the revelation of the Dragon's Rebirth happened, they ended up carrying the ball, i.e., planning on how to guide the Dragon to the Last Battle before the BA or others in the White Tower got to them. The Amyrlin at the time was a member of this group, but got offed by the BA before Moiraine and Siuan could be brought in. Verin is simply trying to carry out "the plan" of this society.

Granted this is a very plausible option. There needs to be a counter balance to the BA. A group that has always admitted the existence of the BA and has worked to counter mind their operations and to await the coming of the Dragon Reborn. Verin's aparent interest and PoV I believe presents her to be an anomoly from the tower which would place her in either group.
