Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Who is Moridin?

Two people have vanished into the blight that have had importance latter in the series. One is Luc, brother of Tigraine. I believe he is the same Lord Luc that showed up in the two rivers and fought Perrin in the dream world. The other is Isam, cousin to Lan, who is mentioned in dark prophecy early in book 2. It is not entirely impossible that he became Moridin.

Again we will have to go on descriptions, does Isam's description fit that of Moridin? It would be interesting to see if the DO decided to use Isam/Luc for something else...except they failed in capturing Fain and they lost the battle in the Two Rivers so you wouldn't think that the DO would ever reward failure...we'll see, references anyone?
