ot So Sane

Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Who is Moridin?

Now... I read through all of your theories concerning the hole Moridin/Ishamael thing but there one one thing no one brought up... Moridin isn't really all that sane... further linking himself to Ishamael...for instance where Moridin is playing Sha'Rah...compares rand to the'fisher king' and metions losing to him badly.

CoS

Mindtrap 417-419 despriptions of Moridin:
-blue eyes
-ancient knowledge
-saa specks
-strong chin
-uses true power

PoD

prologue: Deceptive appearances pages 42-44 mood swings/madness you tell which...

"icy calm replaced rage in the blink of an eye"

"Moridin laughed so hard that tears rolled down his face, but he was not aware of them."

"He called himself Moridin and surely no one had ever had more right to name himself Death."

Now i think that when all the evidence is compiled i think that Moridin is more that likely Ishamael...there are too many similarities... Just like the taim/Demandred issue... Ishamel is way too powerful of a character to be killed off so easy...So He is either Moridin (Most likely) or Shaidar Haran... but that is another story...

The quote you have here which mentions that 'no one had ever had more right to name himself Death'...so obviously this is a name he has given himself? Why is Ishamael the man that deserves to call himself death? The saa throw me off also. If he had been given a new body, why would he have the saa already? I'm still not convinced...although I don't know that anyone will be able to do so :).
