Yes, of course Moiraine is alive. Here's the proof. Min had a viewing of Thom pulling that jewel moiraine wears out of thefire. Min has never had a viewing that was wrong. She has had two that showed split paths, but she has never had a viewing that was wrong. So in order for the viewing to come true. moiraine very likely has to be alive.

I would probably have asked you for the reference to prove that she knows she is never wrong but I just found it yesterday in TFOH. So truly, she never is wrong which is the best evidence yet.

I agree with Malleus, but with a different proof. I've never seen the mention of Min's viewing in the books except where it says that she has never had a viewing that is wrong. I did, however, find a passage in the FoH where Egwene is remembering dreams that she has had, and RJ makes a very specific reference to Thom reaching into a flame to pull Moiraine's blue stone out of the fire. (pg. 300, FoH). This argues well that Thom, and not Olver, is the one who rescues Moiraine.
