Is everybody stupid? Have you all forgotten Perrin's special gift? I think talking to wolves is pretty damn good, and it has already helped him immensley!

He does have the wolves but he still hasn't "accepted them with his full mind and full heart" as one of the wolves mentions in the first book, so I wonder if even the wolves will save him in the end. Just a thought.

Perrin's ability isn't just limited to talking to wolves, I believe that his senses are greatly improved such as sight, hearing and smell. Although you say that he hasn't accepted the wolves with full mind and heart, if he did he would actually become one so he can't. I think however that the wolves have helped him quite a lot throughout the book including when they were looking for the horn and when they helped attack those who captured Rand.

That's true, I hadn't looked at it that if he accepted the wolves he might end up having to live like Elyas away from everyone else or that he might turn into a wolf, good point.
