Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Rand and the Last Battle

Rand will survive Tarmon Gai'don. The prophecies state that his blood will be spilled on the rocks of Shayol Ghul not that his life will be forfeit. It is only the interpretation of the prophesies that say that he will die. After all this guy has gone through to get to the Last Battle, it would be a crime to let him die!

Actually the best thing that could happen would be for Rand to die. I am sick of the fantasy genre that leaves every little story with a happy ending. To save the world sacrifice is necessary, if not his blood, someones.
