Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Rand and the Last Battle

I have this mad theory about the Dark Ones prison actually being the Creator himself. This will make both the DO and the Creator unable to touch the world. (Order and Chaos is supposed to be equal in strength) But then came the Bore and something affected their struggle.

"What has this got to do with Rand then?"

The Dragon is as Moridin implies the Fisher. he is the piece that can decide who will win, the DO or the Creator. He is therefore both the DO and the Creator's hope of dominance over the other! His decision, (or humanities) at Tarmon' Gaidon will shift the balance between them, like a pebble landing on top of two boulders on a weight. Therefore the Dark One doesnt want Rand dead( but he has to make it seem like his trying, or else Rand could kick his a** without fear of retaliation) That's why Taim\Demandred+++ has to watch out for him all the time, even though they hate him.

Please let me know what you think of this bold theory of mine. (or maybe everybody has figured it out already and I'm just really slow).

I would say that you have the right of it. If the DO killed Rand at this stage the Creator could still raise up another Dragon. At Tarmon Gaidon the DO has a better chance of destroying all hope and breaking out of his prison if Rand fails.
