If my recollection serves, Rand has already died once. When Rand was struck down over Falme I could swear he was pronounced dead. I also think I remember him mentioning himself dieing in that battle.

Archmage asked me not to post this if I knew it wasn't true...I don't know so I thought, hey, what could it hurt to post it and see what everyone has to say that way we can get some feedback and maybe figure something out. Comments?

When Jordan wrote "Twice to live and twice to die." I think it means that Rand will die. Once to live as Lews Therin and once to die as Lews Therin and once to live as himself and once to die as himself.

I thought of a way that RAnd might die and live again. Maybe he'll seal the Dark One, or something, and die in the process. Then Mat'll sound the Horn o' Valere, and Hawkwing will suddenly be second in command.
