o Warders Have a Cord?

by Travin: 1999-03-11 | Not yet rated

Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: The Black Cord

Just a quick theory. It is my belief that the cord between the chosen and the dark one is similar to bonding between Aes Sedai and Warders. I can't remember his name at the moment but when the chosen in the waste has that black cord cut by Rand, and then goes on to help him, he mentions that he can no longer sense the DO. So this singnals to me that it is like bonding.

Hmm, now that is pretty original. I had never extended the cord part to bonding, but it makes sense, that the DO would bond them with the True Power. Asmodean's reaction is somewhat similar, although as we have been speaking on the board, Asmodean didn't suffer any mental damage when it was cut. Is it possible that if you can channel then you wouldn't react the same way the Warders do? You should try developing your ideas more, full quotes and more ideas surrounding the basis that they are basicly the same thing. Nice theory.
