Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Miscellaneous Theories

I don't know why everyone thinks that rand is going to kill the DO that would be impossible, like destroying the creator (or God). All he is supposed to do is DEFEAT the DO not kill him. Think about The DO "dies" the AoL comes again and what happens? No DO, no war of power, no LTT no dragon, no rand no Tarmon'gaidon etc... So what hass to happen (atleast i think so) is that the seals will be destroyed, the DO freed, rand will put seals into place (new ones). I also believe Elayne will somehow learn how to make heartstone. If all this where true then the part of "his blood on the rocks of Shayol Ghul, might not mean rands, it might be the DOs blood, and the DO might a "Human" or "Human incarnate". One last thing to think about: For a moment consider that the DO isn't a person or thing, it's a non-correal entity that posses things to project it's power. Then Bie(the guy who made the bore) might have been "possesed by the DO and used his immense powers (inconjuction with compulsion)! to inflict his presence and power into other people's minds. But maybe not.

Agreed, the DO cannot be killed, just defeated.
