oes the Oath Rod Shorten an Aes Sedai's Lifespan?

Most of the facts say so but here is a twist that could explain why it looks that way.

The Kin live longer than Aes Sedai not because they don't take the oaths on the rod but because they swear on their own rod. The Kin want to be Aes Sedai so they imitate them by swearing on their own rod from that cache of angreal, sa'angreal and ter'angreal. The Oath Rod is probably one of the Nine Rods of Dominion used by the T'Amrylin in the Age of Legends. Now the rod that the kin swear on in their imitation of Aes Sedai is another of the Nine Rods of Dominion and this one lengthens the life of the channeler that uses it. The Kin haven't told Elayne Nyneave and the rest because the Kin have no idea that the rod they use even does anything so they don't tell them because they don't want any more humiliation.

I don't really have much hard facts that this is true but it would be Jordanque so I thought I would post it.

Hmmm, That would be a twist for you, although you do make a good point that the Kin do try to imitate the Aes Sedai in every way possible. Comments anyone?(I'm sure you all know that I believe that the Oath Rod was instituted by the BA in order to regulate and diminish Aes Sedai life and power...but I figured you all would know that so I didn't want to write it.)
