In case it hasn't been mentioned, and I couldn't find it, Rand and Galad are half-brothers. I'm sure a lot of you know that already, but in case some of you missed it, the clues are all there.

In TFoH Rand is talking to one of the contenders for the Lion throne (I don't have the books with me right now) and tells him that Taringail's wife (Galad's mother) went off into the Waste. It's clear that this is the woman found by the Maidens (Rand's Mother). It also states in the Glossary under Galad that he is the son of Taringail and this woman (can't remember her name). What does this imply? Eliada has had the foretelling the blood of andor would play a major role in the last battle. That blood includes Rand, Galad, Gawyn and Elayne. Elayne (thankfully) is Galad's half brother on the other side, so she and rand are not related, so there will be no deformed, retarded, Dragon Reborn Jr. in book fouty-four.

I do predict that Rand will put this all together (RJ seems to imply that he already has) and make some sort of alliance with Galad,or in a more likely scenario, rand will be confronted by galad and be unable to hurt his own brother leading to a crisis the Min has probably already predicted somewhere.

Sorry if you all have put this one together already, but I think it's one of the sure bets in theoryland.
