Before Winter's Heart - Archive Only: Miscellaneous Theories

It has been stated, I don't remember where, that stilling breaks the Warder/Aes Sedai bond. Now since none of us want Alanna bonded to Rand why not let someone still her. It would be poetic for Rand to do it, but he seems to be unable to harm women, even in self-defense, so I think Aviendha or Elayne should do it. Aviendha has the eye-for-an-eye mentality and Elayne has a serious jealousy streak. I realize severing the bond triggers withdrawl in the Warder, but we can have Elyane bond him and he seems to be able to hold his on as it is. If this is too drastic for the faint of heart out there and we can't forget a trained Aes Sedai, even one of only average strength, can be useful tool then just let Nynaeve heal her. Personally I'd let the Seanchan capture her. A few years as a damane would teach her respect for other peoples' inate humanity or not.

That would be nice, I hated that part where she bonds Rand, but I don't think RJ will let it go that easily. I just wonder what the purpose of the bond will turn out to be. Any ideas?
