ust a Wilder

Previous Categories: Alivia: Who and How

I don't think so. Alivia is just a wilder from Seanchan who happens to be very powerful. Is like everything else, (speed, height, strength), she happens to be one of the strongest women channelers. As for moiraine, I think she is caroline damodred who is moiraine's cousin (supposedly). Min also taught that she was moiraine when she first meets her in the woods in acos. As for why, I think she was stilled in finnland because you have to pay a price after you get want you want. Also she had a small stone like moiraine. The only problem I have with this is that she is doesn't try to get her old life back such as being with the tower. And we know from min that moiraine has to be alive because of a viewing. I wonder what she got in finnland and what lanfear got because both knew about the finns as opposed to mat who really didn't know what he was doing.

I guess having a strong wilder apparently fighting on your side is a bonus. Do you think that Alivia is "acting" in regards to her loyalties?

I don't think she is lying about her loyalties. When you first become suldam, they break you, but after 400 hundred years (which is a very long time), she probably acquired a strong sense of self because everybody else around her is probably dead and she is also very strong. But the odd thing is, if she is very strong, wouldn't she be highly prized and therefore belong to the crystal throne? Maybe the return was the most important. I am sure we will find out in the next book.

But you bring up a good point...her strength, and potential tie to the throne because of it...makes her a good potential spy. But we will learn more as we go as you said.

The Seanchan are very honorable, and, while they use spies, would they break the rule on which thier society is founded and just send an 'evil' channeller to spy on the 'corrupt and friends of the dark' AES SEDAI?

I don't think they would.

could she have been a sul'damme that started channeling and panicked? and if moir was caroline then wouldnt she want to be healed by N or atleast warn rand that LF is free in the world?

Technically, all damane are property of the Empress, may she live forever. I believe we find this out through Egeanin's point of view.

Just a thought; maybe Alivia will turn out to be a damane that the Daughter of Nine Moons used to know- that could create a nice twist if they ever meet...
