Previous Categories: What is Rand's next move?

Hello. I'm pretty sure I have a good idea where Rand's next move is and that is home. Rand, I think, knows that the end is near and the last battle soon to come. He also knows that he has to take care of Taim and the Ashaman and he hears reports of the Senchean in Illian so he knows that there is that big battle over the horizon as well. On a side note you all must realize that Mat is heading to Illian. With the Daughter of the Nine Moons his "captive" Rand is the only one close enough to be of help. With all this trouble coming I bet you Rand will want to see Taim and home at least once more before things get even more hectic. Maybe he believes those flashes of colors that occur whenever he thinks of Perrin and Mat means that something huge is about to happen and the need for them all to be together is so great that he won't have the time to say goodbye. Besides, it will be a great time to relax and a great time to recuperate. I can't wait to see Rand and Lan go at each other the next time they duel. I bet you Rand will win. But these are my thoughts as to where Rand and his teammates are heading. Just a thought.

Home. Well, I have always believed the Tam and Rand would talk before the LB. But wouldn't the DO look in the Two Rivers? Or at least wouldn't Rand think that he might look there? Since Cadsuane is leading that group now that Rand and Nynaeve are out of it for a bit, might she not take them all back to the her home town once again until Rand is ready to venture out again? Although, it would be nice to see him visit the Two Rivers one last time, versus him going there after the LB (Tolkien). Interesting thought.

I don't think that Cadsuane will take him back to Far Madding; her group wasn't exactly winning any popularity contest when they left. Even so, Rand has avoided showing any loyalty to the Two Rivers specifically to keep the DO from taking an interest in it; I don't think he'd suddenly change his mind just because he needs time to rest.

I agree that Tam and Rand will meet again; perhaps Tam will even have one final lesson for his surrogate son. Rand will not go home until after the LB, if he ever gets the chance to do so.

What about mins veiwing of mat and manetheren. Everyone seems to think mat perrin and rand will meet up again. Why not go home, Mat will become king and tuon become AS because the king or queen of manetheren was AS and gaidin. Perris has to return hes a lord there now and his "army" are 2 rivers people and rand obviously wants to go home or else he would not avoid the subject so much

I don't think Rand will go home at this point. In fact, most of the ones who elft the two Rivers, seem to avoid going back, excluding Perrin. Most seemt o try intentionally to stay away, due to their seeming importance in the world.

But I do think that Tam will make his way out of the Two Rivers, and meet up wiht Rand, and that Cadsuance might have somehting to do wiht it (it could very well trigger some of what she wants to accomplish wiht him smiling)

I think that Rand will not return home before TG, but Tam might go out into the world to find him and become a captain in the army.

rand did go back to the two rivers, he travelled to bring elder haman, erith, and loilal's mother there, and yet he didn't stay and chat with anyone he knew, i dont think he'll go back again
