ogains Glory and the Black Tower~Locki

Okay bear with me if I have messed up anything this is my first post.

This is how im going to do it. First i'll give my theory. Then i'll explain.

Logain's glory is in relation to the Black Tower's upcoming civil war that is foretold by Elaida. In her Foretelling she fortells destruction and fire burnin in the BT. She also foretells sisters walking the grounds of the BT after the destruction.

Now we all know of the two major factions in the BT in WH. We have Taim's and we have Logain's. This is how the fight gets started and how destruction comes to the BT.

Logain's victory over Taim's faction will result in him being the new leader/M'heal(forgot the proper spelling something like that) of the Asha'man and the BT.

Now all of you who are reading this are probably thinking how can Logain overpower Taim's factions when they have equal numbered male channelers. Here we have Logain's faction full of dedicated and maybe a few Asha'man. Over with Taim you have a whole Palace full of Asha'man each having recieved special training, and almost all of them in special squads that Taim has formed.

This would make you think that Taim will win easily no contest. However, Logain has the biggest advantage over Taim. Logain has every captured Aes Sedia on his side. First your wondering how he has them ALL.

I'm betting that he does have them all because Taim sent him to stop the sister from reaching the BT and in hopes that Logain would kill them and bring Rand's wrath down on Logain. So Logain got his faction and instead of shielding them, stilling them, and/or killing them he had every sister bonded.

Now that i've established that i can explain that Logain can have large circle formed with both male and female channellers working together (and we all now that when both sides of the OP work together it's always stronger the just one side of the OP) thus overthrowing Taim and killing him.

This is my theory on both the BT and Logains glory. I have grown rather fond of this idea and would like it tested. So please respond to it i want to work out the errors. Anything new that i come up with or anything i forgot i'll respond post.

Locki, I think most people would agree with you, although, many have pegged his glory with actually taking over for Rand, as Tamyrlin, in the new Age that follows. While I think you are right that Logain will beat Taim, I don't think taking Taim's spot brings him any more glory, since those following him already are those loyal to him. So, while you are correct about what will happen, I think it falls short.

Actually, I think it says that Logain's faction is bigger, but Taim only promotes to Asha'man those in his own faction.

I agree with Tam but i have one other argument. Why does Taim have to die? Taim will LIVE!!!!

Taim is evil, of course he will die. And yes, Taim promotes the Ashaman and his faction is a LOT smaller then Logains, however due to the **extra** or **special** lessons by Taim, and that all full Ashaman, except Logain, are with Taim. So they are still a force.

I believe that Taim is one of Demandred's 'Proxies', meaning he is theoretically allied with Demandred's other proxies (I bet Masema and Asunawa, but I digress), so help could always come from one of them, or Demandred himself, although him getting his hands dirty remains doubtful. That alone could sway things in Taim's favor.

Two points-

One, in a battle, channelers by themselves, or in small groups, would probably be more effective. Only one person can lead a link and they can't watch for attacks in all possible directions.

Two, Taim's faction isn't nessesarily larger than Logain's, just better trained. It's probable that the Dedicated and soldiers will swing over to Logain's side once the fighting actually begins, because Taim and his faction seem to be remaining aloof from the lower ranks.

This reply may be coming a little late, but here goes. I do not believe that Taim is evil, just a bit misunderstood. However, it is the misunderstanding that will cause the fighting between the asha'man. Any way, though Taim's faction does have the better trained soldiers, Logain's faction has the advantage of Aes Sedai with years of experience. With the ability to link thrown in, Logain and his people will detroy Taim's very quickly. That in itself may be part of Logains glory. When Rand finds out about how Logain dealt with a supposed mutiny in Rands private army, Rand will be so appreciative that Logain will, as theorised, be named the new M'hael, and eventually Tamyrlin. Bet Taim will be pretty pissed when he finds that out, which may cause him to turn to the darkside...
