So it's Friday (duh) and it's time to stop being boring and wash the week's worth of crap away with a good bottle of wine.

Let's raise our glasses to neighbourly meth fires, terrible airlines and their terrible customer service, skeezy lawyers, a terrible job market, a miserable and seemingly hopeless housing market and exams. BOO to the badness that was this week, last week and the week before that!

This weekend I intend to drink red wine, nap and try to hedonistically cure the spasms that have decided to move into my neck.

How about you? What are we forgetting, and how are we doing it?

I have a paper to write this weekend and a lot of practicing to do for a master class I have to play for on Tuesday and also a performance where I'm accompanying a voice student.

- Terez, is too broke for wine anyway...and it gives her headaches

It was a decent weekend. I mowed and cleaned the yard. Drank beer. Worked on my book. Ate good food. Slept til 10 am on both days. All in all it was pretty good, other than the yard work.

Busy weekend.

We put our house on the market on Friday, and the timing might not have been better. Friday, Saturday, and most of Sunday were beautiful here, and a lot of the flowers and trees in our yard are in full bloom. Lots of people out walking, taking flyers about our house, and hopefully liking what they see. When we weren't stressing out about what to do next, we were cleaning, touching up paint, cleaning, folding laundry, cleaning, and working in the yard.

We have an accepted but contingent offer on another house, so the sooner we can sell ours the sooner we can move.... Unless someone comes along and outbids us, at which point we have two days to...well...to rescind our offer. We can't afford two mortgages at present (who can?!).

Open house next Sunday, so guess more cleaning! Yay!

I'm sure once all the bugs are worked out Tam will make it official. Unfortunately it looks like the bugs are tough to kill...or Tam is lazy again ;)   :p

Went to a crawfish boil on Saturday, too much sun and too much beer in that order. Sunday, church, cleaning and napping. Not necessarily in that order. Had white wine on Friday, not red.

Well this weekend will be a fun-filled day of shopping in Buffalo (hello Target!!!!) followed by copious napping. No housework. :p Maybe some cooking, definitely some Stargate. The highlight will definitely be Target. Can't freaking wait.

Well, the Sens were eliminated so no more hockey (at least any more hockey that I truely care about). Sunday will be rpg's, which is always fun.

The only good thing about weekends for me is that I usually get to sleep late, cause I normally have tons of work to do on weekends. :( I probably shouldn't sleep late on weekends, but I do anyway...sometimes I stay up all night Friday night and then sleep till late afternoon, lol...

We did nothing but sleep in and watch bad baseball and an interesting race. It was great.

Hmm.. lessee. What am I trying to forget over the weekend? Nevermind that its MONDAY and the start of a new work week.

Start with forgetting that I pulled an allnighter ripping every muscle in my body from its anchor emptying my sh1tbox house that cant sell onto a POD pretty much by myself. In the rain.

Add to that the fact that Im 18 hours away from home and hence cannot start my job search. Can't even update my resume because thats on my second computer which has a blown power supply. I got a new one, but sneaky Dell puts PSU's with no rocker switches in to their cases so my generic doesnt fit.

Speaking of work. I still have to do my damn job so I dont get fired in the next two weeks. That to protect the crappy severance Im getting when they lay me off. Im far to tired to be able to think rationally about what I want to be when I grow up. But JUST tired enough to think irrationally about all the things I don't want to be...which is everything.

Ive been subsisting on Ramen Noodles and Double Cheeseburgers for the last two weeks. My body is too old to handle that crap so I feel the heart constricting every time I finish a meal.

Somehow I have to manage to get all the trash out of the house before I drive 18 hours back home in a car that is too small for me. Along with the desks and appliances...including the Washer Dryer that is down steep stairs in the basement. Which leaks. And its been raining for 5 days.

I got no TV. I lost my cellphone so I have none of my friends' numbers. There are no movies to speak of. All my books are packed. This machine is to crappy to play games on. Ive read every thread on every message board that I go to and to top it off, I got a rash so bad on my a$$ I can't even sit down.

But you know me. I can't complain.

Wow...I wanna hang with Ivhon for a few days!

Lessee, I got up saturday morning and went to the spa and had a full body massage, and a heat wrap. I came home and drank some wine while the gardner mowed the yard. I instructed him to be careful around the pool and jacuzzi, but the bastard got grass in them anyway. My chef cooked me a fine meal for dinner, although I think the caviar was a little off...it just tasted a tad funny. I went to bed in my super kingsize and slept like a baby until 11:00 sunday morning. I went to the media room and kicked up the surround sound and laid on the plush couch until the race came on at 1:00. The servants came in about 2:30 and rubbed oil into my feet and hands and gave me a pedicure and manicure. I had to admonish them several times because I couldn't see the race on my 110" plasma screen. After the race was over I talked to Kyle Busch for a few minutes to congratulate him on his win, then called my driver to take me to my daughters house so we could go out to dinner. I slept most of the way back and went to bed about 11:00 pm.

All in all it was a truly long and tough weekend after the grueling episode with the gardner, and the chef being in a snit over bad caviar, but I made it through.
