I saw it last night and it was good. Very good actually. Probably one of the best super hero movies I've seen...ever. Including Batman Begins and Superman Returns.

I saw it on Sunday and yeah it was the best superhero movie I've seen in a while. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect in the role. did you stick around for the small clip after the credits? I was very impressed by the movie, plenty of action, comedy, drama, and even some romance ;)

yeah, I heard from one of the websites I visit that there was something after the credits so I stuck around and I must admit that is a very nice choice for Nick Fury.

That site (applegeeks (http://www.applegeeks.com/blog/2008/05/05/avengers-assemble/)) also had an interesting take on the implications of that little scene.

SoE went and saw it on the night it opened. He told me I needed to go see it this weekend. He liked it better than any other super movies he's seen. I will probably go saturday.

I liked it and would recommend seeing it... I see after the opening $$$ came in, they announced the sequel, along with a boat load of Avenger spin off movies :)

I was a big fan of this film - by far the best superhero film since the first Spiderman, probably. The casting, in particular, was spot on.
