CONFUSION ABOUNDS!!!!
ah, seriously a great finale. just like the last couple, lots of questions answered, lots of new questions.
My hubby thinks Charlotte is Wittemore's daughter, but no one realizes it.
Polar bear "ran" the underground thingy and moved the island before...that is how it ended up in the desert.
Just saw it. Pretty good!
So Charlotte has been to the island once before. And did she say to Juliet that she "wanted to find where she was born"? She was born somewhere on the island then maybe.
I wonder what the "pretty bad things" that happened after Jack et al left is gonna be. Next season is too far off!
And when did the Oceanic Six start to call Locke for another name? Lots of questions to be answered, dammit.

Awesome episode... I loved the scene where Ben and Locke get into the Orchid... "John, you watch this very informative video..." hehehe
And Mort, he has to go by a different name so Widmore doesn't know he was alive and that he left the island. The same reason the six had to lie about their story.

so many questions, so few answers.
anyone have an idea on the timeline? at the beginning of the season I figured Jack had the beard right after getting back. then watching the flash forwards I figured he shaved the beard before he got together with Kate and started being there for Aaron. then he started seeing his dad. then the 5/29 episode, with the same flashback as the season 3 finale, and suddenly we find out it has been 3 years since they got off the island, and the dead guy that Jack went to the viewing for was Locke and he has the beard now. needless to say I'm confused. help???
Is Sun "bad" as in Whidmore is bad and Ben is good type "bad" ? why is she siding with him?
I was very very glad to see that Penny and Desmond got a happy ending, well sort of ;) about bloody time is all I can say.
What happened to Daniel and the group in the little boat? they were a ways away from the island when it "moved" but not close enough to the ship to be caught in that disaster. they saw the flash that Jack and crew saw from the helicopter but Jack and crew never saw them.
how did Locke get off the island? and why?
is season 5 the final season? I thought i read somewhere that when they first pitched Lost to ABC they had a 5 season plot outline in place and ready with major plot points and direction already set.
if so can they really tie it all together in only one more season?

Two seasons. 2010 is the end.
And Mort, he has to go by a different name so Widmore doesn't know he was alive and that he left the island. The same reason the six had to lie about their story.
Yeah, I know why they had him under a different name. They were just very plane about using it, since all the six knew the name, not something they probably worked out beforehand. Locke probably visited one or two of them and told them he went under another name, that is what my question was about :) How the six came to know the name.

Was really impressed with the last two episodes. Didn't think the season as a whole was great but they made up for it.
Anyone think maybe Jin isn't dead? Clutching at straws maybe but it was kind of a useless way to die and Lost being what it is, would have thought they would have him depart in a more heroic fashion.
Anyone else like the way that as everyone was trying to flee the ship all the no mark islanders were running around and leaping off the ship while the Big 8 simply strolled onto the waiting helicopter, lol.

Hehe yeah, you'd think that if you were on a boat that was gonna explode, and there was this chopper, it would be more fighting of who gets on it :)
About Jin, maybe the smaller boat picked him up later on, they must have been pretty close to the ship when it went kaboom.
I'm far from an explosive expert, but isn't 500 pounds of C4 a sickening amount of explosives? I was thinking a few pounds of C4 could easily destroy that ship as it was portrayed in the episode. 500 pounds should have sent the ship wreckage flying :)

And I quote Bryan (OK, paraphrase), what are they trying to do, LAUNCH the thing into orbit?
I'm thinking Jin is still alive. The In-Crowd hasn't seemed to die off except in heroic fashion or in betrayals.

lol... Okay, Mort. Now you've got me confused. You just gave the answer to your own question, I think... Locke just visited them and introduced himself with a new name. ~shrug~
I was literally giddy when Penny and Desmond got their happy ending. If it gets screwed up like Sayid and Nadia, I'll be so irritated. I mean, they already did that once, so I don't expect they will. And I really want one couple to be able to leave and just be happy with each other.
And, uh, when's the new season start?

Hey! I said "probably" :)
Wasn't sure if I had missed any important detail earlier in the season.

Depends. The actors guild's making noises about a strike now.
