After scoring well on tests and losing 45lbs I was selected for officer training in the Air Force. I've never worked so hard for something in my life and Im pretty excited for this opportunity.
I gave my notice at work (currently a programer) and will be starting Officer Training School on June 24th. My official job field will be Communications-Computer Systems which has to do with military networks.
Coming fast!

Congratulations! Do you already have a degree, or are they sending you to college? If so, are they sending you straight to OCS (Officer Candidate School, that's what it's called in the Navy at least)?
Awesome accomplishment, either way!

Thanks everyone :)
I have BS in Computer Science. They'll send me to OTS(officer training school) in Montgomery, Alabama for 12 weeks and then to tech school in Biloxi, Mississippi for 13 weeks. After that? Who knows!
