My stepdad nearly shat himself with glee. I'm fully expecting him to sell the car and mortgage the house to enter this auction.
If you've ever wanted to eat dinner with Sarah Palin, now's your chance.
With bids starting at $25,000, eBay is auctioning off a dinner for five with the former Alaska governor and her husband, Todd. The proceeds will go to "Ride 2 Recovery," a charity that provides wounded veterans with bicycles and organized rides to help in their mental and physical recovery.
"The Governor is excited to have been asked to honor our nation's veterans in this way," said Palin spokesman Meg Stapleton.
The auction opens on Tuesday and will last for ten days. Also up for grabs: Lunch with Karl Rove. Bidding on a meal with the former Bush presidential adviser starts at $7,500.

I wonder how much goes to veterans and how much goes to snowmobiles

Do they also have a death panel?
Hmm...we supposedly have 303 active users. Can we manage to raise enough money to buy this for Davian?

I thought she stepped down? Why is she still using the title? I'd love to go, lol. She wouldn't like it much! :)

Governor, Senator, Congressman, President are all titles you get to keep for life.

Yuck! Her title should be stripped for stepping down and causing such a ruckus in the first place, or the people should give her one... I've got a couple of interesting ideas!

Governor, Senator, Congressman, President are all titles you get to keep for life.Stupid rule, that. I thought that you had a Revolution so as to get rid of all the titled twits. Maybe you should have done a proper job of it.

Well, I thought she and the husband were getting a divorce, so either way, I'm confused!

Paris Hilton ran for president. Paris Hilton is searching for a new Best Friend Forever.
Sarah Palin ran for president*. Sarah Palin is now apparently also looking for a new BFF.
Makes sense, doesn't it?
Has anyone seen One Night In Palin, yet?
* Well, vice-president. But I'm not sure anyone informed her of that detail.

Hahahhaha! That would be a beautiful thing. However, minimum bid is 25,000. We would all be spending at the very least $83 dollars. Most likely a lot more than that to actually win the bid. So as tempting as this suggestion is, so very very tempting, I'll have to pass.

I'm kind of amused that you actually did the math for that.

If Rove wants to really make some money for the veterans, he should just man up and offer to let the high bidder kick him in the stones.
He'd out-gross Palin in a heartbeat. I'd sell kidneys for the opportunity.

I'd go in a heartbeat. I'd love the chance to rip her a new one on all the issues that current face our Republic. Healthcare in particular would be fun. She is a sad hateful woman that is simply a mouthpiece for the extreme right wing.
