and wasn't there something called HA, Heroes Ascension or some such? Are these fun activities? Advice?

And yes, if you're wondering, my little AB mission didn't quite work out. On Saturday morning the Kurzicks were in Ancestral Lands, and I set myself the goal of getting them to Kaanai Canyon by Sunday evening. ~sigh~ Well, Etnaran Keys isn't so bad, but we were stuck there the longest time! Compounded by fools who did things like whanging away at an invincible build Dervish, 5 vs 1, then getting huffy because I scolded them. I was informed I shouldn't take the game so seriously. Even with my most vicious builds and reasonably capable teams, I still couldn't quit pull out enough wins.

I haven't looked today to see where they are.

I've tried hero battles a couple of times (for the longest time, a bug prevented me from even accessing it) and I didn't find it that much fun, really. You will be best served to use a g11 or g15 keyboard with macros mapped to flag your heroes and cast spells for them, because that is how you win. It also seems less open ended than AB, since there is a metagame going on in hero battles, where certain team builds are in vogue for a time, and it will be tough to counter them.

I have yet to get to Heroes Ascent, since I haven't even done any Team Arena battles (lost a couple times when being bumped up from RA).
