This is basically what annoys me on a day to day basis.

I sometimes feel that I'm the only one of my entire generation that believes in hard work and integrity and doesn't expect a handout...Am I weird? (for that...not the rest of my odd personality)

LOL...I didn't mean it like that Gil...I meant locally where I work. If I didn't have things like TL w/ people like Bryan, I'd probably go insane.

I havn't seen any such tendencies here in Sweden, yet. I am the youngest of in my family (born 83 with two older siblings) and I don't see stuff like this at all around my friends. Although I hear friends who have younger siblings that are born around 89-90s and beyond that they are terrible :)

A lot more mouthing off to older people which we wouldn't dream of doing when we were kids and believing they own the world.

I do know that I once read somewhere that people who are the only child, or at most have one other sibling, have a higher tendency to getting pampered.

Maybe it's something like that? If people nowadays don't get as many children than let's say 30 years ago. People with siblings have to learn to share early, something the millenials might not have had to learn :)

I wouldn't want to be a manager for a bunch of them, some in that video seemed to not be able to sit still at all. I would have thought it was a center for people with ADD or something :)

It's not really the lack of sharing. It's being told from day one that, "They're special, they're wonderful, here's a trophy just for showing up." Their parents kissed their a$$es and now they demand their bosses do it.

Though that bouncy ball seat looks like a great work out. ;)

If I had to work next to that guy, I would probably snap at one point and shank the hell out of it :D
