Or they already arrived last night. As to raisings, those should be along this weekend. And chat, oh chat, I'm still working on it.

Sarevok

Great work, Tam! :D
Except... you got things in the wrong order: chat should be FIRST on that list! :)

I'd rather see some headway made on the backlogged theories on the main page. But wishes ain't fishes

When I first saw the title of this thread from the main menu, I thought it said "Your titties are coming..." I blame the spammers...

I was going to make a crack about your grasp of anatomy, Terez, but your grasp of anatomy could be partially responsible.

Is it politically correct in this case to be grasping anatomy?

jason wolfbrother
06-07-2008, 10:59 AM
all depends on who's anatomy is being grasped ;) ;)

~sits back on the ESC~

are you volunteering?

Yuri33

Other post titles mistakenly read by Terez:

"Your new post counts are being updated" = "You new post cunts are being updated"

"The noobs here stink" = "The boobs here stink"

"I love your new nick" - "I love your new dick"

:)

(I know this is probably going to start a flood of off color posts--and I'm glad!)

Terez

Jeez...it's probably going to make Tam decide to give us a filter after all. :p

Yes, very covertly (is that a word?) done. :D I'm not sure how long you've been here, Brita, but it has been a year and ten days for me, not that I'm counting or anything... :D

Brita
06-20-2008, 08:04 PM
What do you mean Ishara? Oh, that post in the middle of the floor- I hardly even noticed it...

But now that it's there we should probably do something about it.

(p.s. to Spammer- I've only been here 7 months- but hey, I'm Generation X, it's in my generation to feel entitled)

Anaiya Sedai
06-21-2008, 10:28 PM
oh no, I think you misunderstood me - I was expecting someone to pick up on that a lot faster... maybe I just have a dirty mind. or maybe i've just had a weird day.

Ah. Well, just because no one else commented on it doesn't mean no one else picked up on it. :p

"Tam Time" might require a whole new calendar. Poor lost Younglings.

How many younglings are approaching 2 years now?

Terez

I only had to wait a year for Elder I think. And only a few months of being on the message board - I had just been hanging out at theoryland.com before that.

Those were the days. Tam used to be one of the most prolific posters here. Then he went and had a family and mulitple jobs...

Oh -- let me rephrase that... "got some idea of the number of hours Tam spends at his workplace..." :P

Last month, I flew in to Chicago to work with Tam and his company on developing their website. Everyone always complains about how stuff doesn't get done around here, and then they scoff when people say Tam's busy. Trust me. The Lord of the Board is pretty damn busy. Here's a brief breakdown of how Tam's average day went while I stayed with him and his family:

530am - wake up
6:15am - out the door
6:30am - on the train to Chicago
6:30am-7:15am - Tam works on website for one job, Camel sleeps or reads
7:15-7:30am - walk a few blocks from train station to work
7:30am-7:30pm - work at Tam's main job
7:30pm-7:45pm - walk back to train station
7:45-9:00pm - Tam works on another website on way home, Camel reads or listens to music or talks incessantly
9:00pm-midnight - Tam continues working on website, Camel watches Olympics, reads, sleeps, listens to music, chats online, or some combination of the above
midnight-530am - sleep, with Tam's youngest screaming at the top of her lungs all night long
Lather, rinse, repeat.

This was average for Monday-Friday. Most days we stayed at the office til 7:00 or so. Some days we didn't leave til 10pm. I think we left before 7:00 maybe... five times the whole time I was there. I think we only got to work after 8am once, and that was on Labor Day, when we "slept in" til 7:00am.

This includes Sundays, except Sundays we didn't go into work til 2pm and we'd head back around 9 or 10pm.

I'm not sure how his weekends went, since I wanted peace and quiet and got a hotel ;)
