I was just wondering how many of you have played this game. It was made by the same people that did Baldur's Gate, and the Fallout series. I have to say, this was one of the most interesting stories in a game I've ever played. Some of the descriptions and story are just incredibly fun to read.

Without going into much depth, pretty much, you are waken up by a floating talking skull (who, btw, is one of the funniest characters in a game ever), and you find yourself in a mortuary with a horribly scarred body. And the talking skull tells you you have a long message carved into your back, and he reads it to you.

I thought it was a pretty awesome game.

It does sound pretty cool. I may have to pick it up after the Bar. I really enjoyed the Baldur's Gate series so if it is anything like them, it should be a lot of fun.

Yeah, it is quite a bit like Baldur's gate. But the humor is more like the Fallout series, which is a good thing.

I dunno, I thought Minsk and Boo were pretty hysterical...

I've played it all the way through a few times to get the different endings/options.

Story-wise, i agree that it is better by a little bit than the BG series - and that's no knock on the BG series!

I think that the 3rd edition D&D rules were craptastic though, and that brought the game down a notch for me. BG had more options for spells, etc. Torment had more interesting and far reaching character choices with a lot less railroading.

Both are worth the little amount of money it would cost to pick them up now.

Minsc and Boo rocked! I can still hear that screetch the damn hamster made after Minsc's dialog bit after selecting him in combat.
