I didn't get to watch it, but damn, that's an a$$ kicking. Thirty-nine points, now that's how you clinch a Championship.

For anyone who listened to games in Boston in the 70's and 80's, can you imagine Johnny Most's reaction to this one? I'd bet that Most and Auerbach are still jumping and dancing in heaven over this one.

Boston's D was so good, at time it made the Lakers look like a high school team.

As a Spurs fan, I was very pleased to see the Lakers get their butts kicked like that. Especially from a team that actually plays team defense.

So much for Kobe winning w/o Shaq.

In other sports news, looks like the Mets got rid of Randolph in a less than great way.

Now why would you go insulting high school teams like that?

It's a good analogy. Most high-school teams can defend against the pick-and-roll. Sadly, LA couldn't. If the celts had stuck better to the pick and roll in game 3, they would have swept. But alas...

It was an exciting win. I was gonna get free tickets to the last game if they lost, though...
