6th Severed Foot Found (http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/06/18/canada.feet/index.html)

Kinda odd to say the least.

It's like something out of Dexter. Awful.

My guess its that it's smuggled immigrants from a container ship, but it's just my guess. As horrible as that sounds, it just seems likely.

it just seems likely.
Why?

Wee, the BC coast is the site of the majority of ensalved immigarnts who pay their entire life savings to get to Canada. There have been schemes where additional sums have been demanded upon landing, and if they;re not recieved then a "lesson" is made.

Like I said, like Dexter, but gruesome.

Perhaps they were "hobbled" to prevent them from escaping...like the workers in the South African Diamond mines...

Yes, at first they thought it could be remains from an accident- but a little too coincidental that the only remains to become detached from the bodies and found on shore are all feet. Very sinister indeed...

6th foot a hoax (http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/080619/canada/vancouver_bc_foot_no_human)!

6th foot a hoax (http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/080619/canada/vancouver_bc_foot_no_human)!

"The coroners service, a forensic pathologist and an anthropologist have all examined the shoe and remains, and determined a skeletonized animal paw was inserted into the shoe with a sock and packed with dried seaweed,"
Damn if Canada doesn't have some gifted seaweed sculptors.

I knew it was a hoax when they announced it. Most Canadians I've met are nowhere near that tall.

As funny as all your puns are this line from the article struck me as being hilarious.

Linteau did not address the question of how the fifth foot came to be detached.
