Here's a thought: Perhaps you should have dropped out before you were $20 million in the hole.

This is not news really - she was dropping hints to this before she actually dropped out, iirc.

If I was Obama, I would tell her to release her delegates first, and then I would help her with some of her debt. Until she released her delegates though, I'd go on like she wasn't even there.

I just think it displays a disgusting level of entitlement by her. Why should she expect anyone to pay back her personal money? Its ridiculous.

Obama should tell her he'll help pay it all off if she campaigns as hard for him as she did for herself.

Would that really help him all that much. In a general election you gotta think her "popularity" cuts both ways. No real democrat (other than WV) is gonna vote against Obama so it won't matter..the small boost among women voters would probalby be offset in the jump in borderline independents to McCain as many hate her.

I don't think she would scare anyone away...those who don't like her will be happy enough to not have to vote for her (among the Democrats) and she can give assurances to her fans that are reluctant to vote for Obama.

Depends on who the VP is...if its her that would probably hurt the Dems at this point.

Obama is not going to choose her; there have been little things coming out that have signaled that. I'd like him to choose Gen. Clark, but that is my dream pick. :D

Why Clark?

Because you're not really a true Democrat, nor a true Republican, that's why. You're a swinger. :p

Why Clark?
He is older, so he would kind of be like LBJ was to Kennedy, and he helps cut into McCain's one supposed advantage - Military Related things.

LBJ was useful because of his Senate ties as the Majority leader...not his age. Other than a little bit of national defense help (Clark's been retired since well before 9/11) he would be useless.

That's Gen. Clark in the middle and that's known war criminal Ratko Mladic on the left...wearing Clarks cover. Hell of a photo op for your good general. Combine that and the fact that he was fired from his NATO command and forced to retire early and he might not be the best choice.

EDIT: Please please please pick him Obama.

LBJ, the one that got the CIA to make him president, and then happily dove into the Vietnam quagmire?

Yup, that's the one.

I doubt if Obama picks a Senator. And it doesn't matter that Clark hasn't been in the military for a couple years; McCain has been out of it longer.

McCain is on the Armed Services committee and thus has current national defense credentials...unlike Clark who basically done nothing but give some speeches and publish a couple books in the past 8 years...

What, no comment?

So you are saying McCain has a better military mind than Clark, a General? Just want to make sure that is what you are saying...

I'd say this photo is more damaging than that one.

You don't get it, huh? Then hopefully Obama is thinking like you. Y'all couldn't make a better pick.

I'm sure he won't. :) Nunn is the most likely person, I think.

No No, pick Clark, he's by far the better choice...look at all that military experience...and he was a general.

Kerry is a great man, but he wouldn't want the VP spot.

Like I said, Clark is just my personal choice. Nunn looks like he is the front runner, kind of like Romney looks like the front runner for McCain's...
