Female Human - Necromancer - Tailor/Jewelcrafter.
Female Norn - Warrior - Armorsmith/Weaponsmith.
Male Charr - Engineer - Leatherworker/Huntsman.
Female Sylvari - Elementalist - Artificer/Cook.
Male Asura - Ranger.
Most likely I will make others as well since I do want to play most of the professions. Depends on how many character slots we start with. Very first day I am making all of the characters that I can.
Changed my mind about an Asura Thief and Sylvari Ranger. Gonna go Asura Ranger and Sylvari Elementalist I think.

Human Assassin & Mesmer. I know, those two choices are right out of left field, but that's how I roll. I'll see about the other classes as I find out more information...although Sylari Ranger stands a pretty good chance.

need... monk...
In other words: I'll wait what the other classes will be. :(

Well, if each of the classes are to have healing skills, you might be able to create a healer of sorts. I could see a Mesmer or an Ele potentially being kited out to being a Healer class, sorta like Ether Renewal Prot or the like.

Elementalist can attune to water and will be the class with the most healing abilities. All classes can be specced to heal and support in some fasion however. There will prolly be a class that can be specced to be more support.

I'll probably play an Asari. As for profession... whatever gets closest to my beloved monk. :(

I didn't know Tyria was in the Mass Effect universe. Those Elder Dragons might be useful for fighting off the Reapers though.
As for me? Human Mesmer (duh), Sylvari or Human Thief. Don't know what else I'll be going for. Norn Warrior, Human Guardian (I think those are the closest to the Monks), Sylvari Ranger, etc. Need to see what the races do before I really decide though.
All that said, right now I'm not a big fan of the Charr or the Asura, although I would be a fan of the Chaar weapons. Not sure about the Golems though.

Pretty sure you can't get an 'Asura - Sylvari hybrid. aka your Asari.:p
I really do hope you find that class you can have fun playing. The more HoH people who play GW2 the happier I and others will be.

Uh... yeah, that was supposed to be Sylvari.
And the cause is probably a bit of both suggestions. A combination of Asura and Sylvari, while having recently played Mass Effect. :D

I think having the Asari in Guild Wars could be a lot of fun. Quick, someone write a fanfic!

After seeing the Thief videos Racael's great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grand-daughter is definitely going to be around.
I wonder if there's going to be a good import option so that the character's can physically mostly look the same.

My hope we will be able to make our toons the way we want. Hopefully town clothes will not be limited to only wearing in towns.

There are going to be a fair number of characters in this game of Canthan or Elonian descent aren't there? Racael, Xandra & Eilidh are all likely to have representatives in GW2.
Hummm, I just had a strange thought of a Norn or possibly an Asuran Necromancers or Elementalists though. Those could be fun.

I will be there for GW2...can count on me having as many characters as possible with as much variety as I can muster.
Good lord, I have enough names saved, yay me!

I'm thinking either Elementalist for Charr, perhaps Necro, although that might go to an Asura. Either way, they're like 6 or 7th down the list, with like 8th being the Engineer. I think I'll go for all the other classes first.

Wonder if a Sylvari Thief would be too weird.
Gil says that someone actually is writing a Mass Effect/Guild Wars cross-over fanfic. Yay tentacle headed, boobed mono-gendered species in Tyria.
