In their defense I usually store my tiki torch fuel next to the apple juice.

One person mistook the oil for bottled water and tried to make coffee, but didn't get sick, Marcus said.
Um.... a thick YELLOW fluid looks like WATER? What, was he making coffee in the dark?
Ours is outside in the garage. Where it's supposed to be.

Is tiki-torch fuel a "thick yellow" liquid?
I guess I don't see how so many people could mistake it for some kind of drink if it is so obviously not.
Anyway, it does seem rather weird that you would even be able to get it in your mouth without noticing what it was (or wasn't).

Actually, iirc, there are some torch fuels that aren't thick.

It's thicker than water. Apple juice is, too.

uhm... I've never seen apple juice that's noticably thicker than water...

You'd think the smell alone of the kerosene (tiki torch fluid) would be enough to make you stop and think while you're about to drink it...exactly how much alcohol was consumed beforehand?

Sadly, though, this is not Darwin material as the only casualty is well past reproductive age. The genes have been passed on.

Miley Cyrus is up next for what? The Olson Twins Award for minor whose 18th birthday is most anticipated?

Guess I didn't see that one, then. Though my point still stands.
