I appreciate the stand against something you don't like but it isn't really your call. You are just an employee and thus don't own the flag. It took balls to retire though.

Good job, buddy. You didn't lower the flag, because of your principles. Now your family can starve while your unemployed. All because you didn't want to give the standard honor to a guy who ALSO stood up for what he believed in.

I mean, the hypocrisy and stupidity here runs so deep. I hope his wife comes out alright... but the guy himself can starve, for all I care.

Yeah not quite sure what to think on this one. I understand his dislike of Helms. The guy was pretty much an asshole. But I'm not sure that it was worth losing his job over. There might have been better ways to protest the decision to honor Helms.

I have to say that I love Cholly's new title. I think it suits. I was hoping he lost his way when we moved.
