I don't know if anyone has seen that, but it is hilarious. I can't wait for the next two parts. Neil Patrick Harris is great, and Nathan Fillion is perfect as his... opposite? :D Joss Whedon is a genius. :D

Serious LOLS

That was extremely bizarre -- and a complete hoot!

I freely admit I've never seen anything quite like it -- though it puts me in mind of "Little Shop of Horrors."

Great stuff. Act II is out and Act III comes out on Saturday. I'm stoked. Good stuff.

I bought the season pass on iTunes, so it's all going on my iPod as soon as they're available :D

what to do during the writers' strike, eh. And me as the nemesis - I like it, although 'Johnny' is rather too informal. I was reminded of Dr. Mel in Brewster Rockitt, one of my favorite comics.

I think you were mistaken, Snow. You see, Dr. Horrible already has a nemesis - he takes his beatings from Captain Hammer.

I hate my 64-bit computer ------ never purchase on the bleeding edge when you don't know the consequences. I can't download iTunes on this computer! ~growls horribly~

Did anyone notice that Dr. Horrible took over dishing out the food at the homeless shelter early in part II? Sorta... he just upended the ladel over the pot -- never got any into a bowl. LOL -- obsessed much?

I love the not-very-subtle way that Captain Hammer is actually a jerk. But I giggled madly at "You look Horribly familiar..."

iTunes works fine on my 64-bit PC...and I'm running X64, the system that Apple doesn't support. I'm pretty sure they've got a 64-bit version of iTunes for Vista.

and yes, I did see Dr Horrible take over serving dinner at the shelter. Twas rather funny. I actually spotted him after the switch and went "?" and rewound it a few seconds to see him take over.

edit: just saw episode 3. :D I wonder if there's anything else Joss will do like this.

Yes, iTunes supports 64-bit Vista -- however, I have Windows XP-Pro 64-bit -- and THAT is specifically NOT supported. I found an entire thread dedicated to it. There is a work-around described in the thread, but it makes my head spin...

Here, guru, guru, guru...

I also love the over-sized chair he's sitting in while he gives away Australia -- makes him look like ... Edith Ann... and that's the truth! thbptbptbptthbpt! (A running gag on early Laugh-In staring Lily Tomlin -- http://www.tvacres.com/props_ch_edithann.htm as seen here)

Edit: Ok -- just watched Ep 3. Hmmm. I... it... uh... hmmm.

Act Three. Wow. :D

I figured Joss Whedon would have something up his sleeve, but that was not what I was expecting. I thought maybe Penny would start kicking some butt, which with Joss wouldn't have suprised me, but I did not expect in any way what really happened, based on the tone of the first two acts... but I did enjoy it. :D

Kay just watched Act III and wow. not the ending I was expecting. but awesome nonetheless. Captain Hammer is frickin hysterical "especially that guy he smells like poo"

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I bought it on iTunes and I strongly encourage all of you to do the same. It's only $4 and it really gives Joss Whedon and the others a message that we support this kind of stuff. Indie series of well-done shorts. Great stuff.

planetamd64 is FULL of 64-bit info -- most of it way over my head.

Felicia Day=Haut. That's really all I have to say on the subject.

Act III was sad. Still awesome, but the ending was sad.

And I bought it on iTunes, too, Camel. I figured it was only four bucks and now I can watch it whenever I feel like it. Which'll probably be kinda often.

I put iTunes on my laptop and bought it too - and now I can't stop karaokeing along with the song that starts Part II -- egad.

Good thing Ernie is semi-deaf -- he doesn't have to listen. I love the singing on this -- it's fabulous.

Part III was sad. :(

But the fact that the credits identify the members of the League of Evil BY NAME gives me some hope that if enough of us shell out for this, they might do more...

I hope, I hope, I hope...

Was watching it again and noticed a little bit of amusement in the credits...

The "Hawaiian Shirt Guy" -- the actor's name is Lance W. Lanfear...

The guy playing "Dead Bowie" in the Evil League of Evil is presumably Joss Whedon's brother -- Jed Whedon, who also co-wrote the music. Damn, he REALLY does a good job of looking like David Bowie -- but I could have sworn that was a woman. Eye makeup, I guess.

Did I mention that I love the music?

I rewatched it as well, along with some buddies, and there was a lot of foreshadowing going on we heard.

In Act One, he sings "With my freeze ray I will stop the pain...", and at the end of the third, he feels nothing at all...

Act Two "And Penny doesn't seem to care that soon the Dark in me is all that will remain."

And then, the first song of Act Three says "There's no happy ending, so they say, not for me anyway."

Oh, and the best song, in my opinion, is the first one in Act Two, the one that goes "The evil inside of me, is on the rise."

Oh, and the best song, in my opinion, is the first one in Act Two, the one that goes "The evil inside of me, is on the rise." I quite agree -- that's the one that keeps rolling around my head.

Though "Brand New Day" which ends Part II is pretty awesome, too.
