Logan Thackeray represents the Guardian profession in GW2

Anet let PcGamer release the name of the next profession. The Guardian!(aka BML/Blue Mace Lady. Or as Z put it,our new whammo) Further details about the Guardian profession will be released on Thursday 27th of January.

Ok, now they're just taunting me.

I wonder what will be so different from this class to actually be worth separating from the Warrior? Couldn't a protector just be a shield focused Warrior? Or perhaps it's more Paragon related? I guess we'll see what they mean next week.

Well we do know that Guardian can use hammer,sword,mace and shield and I doubt that is all. Most likely this is the more support oriented profession that Anet talked about. Protection abilities and weapon buffs.

Sounds more like a paragon using normal weapons.
