So, for a bit of light reading, I'd highly recommend this book. I actually wasn't sure whether to post it here or on the General boards because it's just so awesome :D

The book looks at what makes people successful, is it their work ethic, their IQ, parents or upbringing? There are a few bits where I wish the author had done a bit mroe digging but overall it's a very amusing read.

Particularly the part about geniuses. Did you know that Chris Langan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Langan) lived most of his early life in Bozeman, Montana? Did you know that when he was a grad student, Robert Oppenheimer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Robert_Oppenheimer) tried to poison his mentor and "after prolonged negotiations it was agreed that Robert would be put on probation"?
