A friend of mine recommended a program called XFire for chatting in-game. It supports Guild Wars and dozens of other games. At least 20 games that I have installed on my system.

Apparently, it works as an IM client in-game, but you can also use it for voice chat.

I've used it, it's not great. Seems to have sound issues half the time.

Me, PD and Tru have been using Skype for a long time now, no problems there :)

I use skype text and voice chat for a different online game I play every day, and I can say that I have absolutely come to hate it.
constant lags and bad sound. :S

since downloading skype 4.0 beta, it has got somewhat better though..
