I has it.

I love my local bookstore.

For those of you who're wondering what I'm talking about: The Alloy of law is Sanderson's next book in the Mistborn series. It's not supposed to come about 'till 8 november.

iirc, publishers don't like it when book stores do that. You probably shouldn't go around advertising this fact.

It's more a case of the employees having no idea what they have in their hands, and just putting the new books on the shelves as soon as they come in. They only had 2 left, and from how they were arranged, I'd guess they never had more than 3 or 4 to start with.

Anyway.

Yeah, but if the publisher finds out about it, they might not be willing to sell that book store any of their catalog any more...which is a lot of money lost.

European publishers are notoriously less strict about that.

I have got the last five WoT books before the official release date.

To be fair, most booksellers don't release until the release date...but the local independent ones...some surly student type doesn't know the book from Adam.

As for the Alloy of Law, I think I'll wait until Brandon is in England and get a signed one!

How can there be another book? Didn't the original trilogy get wrapped up with Scooby Doo-like efficiency?

Frenzy: it's a book a couple of hundred years later in the same world. I heard it's steampunk like?

I believe Brandon intends to write another trilogy in that world, but than even more later in time.

Fantasy...with guns.

Should be interesting.

Of course the drawback of getting the book early, is that I've got no one to discuss it with for over a week... :(

My first day back at work is 11/8. I was thinking of playing hooky, since my BIL is coming into town, but now I have 2 good reasons to put off going back to work, lol! :D
