Damn! Will these people stop at nothing? The one true path is to vote Tana / Hopper '08. Pro-Choice, Anti-Ignorance.

Tana, does your party support the U.S. in its natural territorial expansion northward into Canada? Particularly into their oil fields?

Unify North America?...YES WE CAN!!!

Me too. Right up until:

As devoted Christians, they are more able to make private family decisions than lesser members of society, who require daily Christly monitoring and control, not to mention gays, Muslims, Mormons, Wiccans, Druids, hobbits, or atheists who simply should be burned at the stake.

LOL

No, Davian. It's more like "Hell Yes We Will!"

If we use part of the oil revenue to subsidize Hockey, Beer, and hunting, they'll never even notice.

LMAO!

“Well, quite frankly. James Dobson is insane and Rush Limbaugh is an opportunistic fat pig worthy of derision but not attention.”

Obama may never say that, but I betcha he's thought it! Of course millions have thought that! :D

Why do I get the feeling that the "reporter" made up his/her own quotations? :)

Humor, above all!

Yeah, the bolded bit is what clued me in, though I must say I was very confused before that. :D

I won't lie... when I read that, I had that momentary surge of glee that comes with playing a trump card in a heated debate. But then reality kicked in and I laughed. Great story.

Unfortunately, I think that this campaign has reached a level of absurdity rarely seen (at least by me) in American politics.

Porn-stache vote! Or a write-in. Hell, maybe I'll vote Green.

Funny side note: As Birgitte pointed out to me, according to Barr's website, he's currently the only candidate actually ON the Texas ballot for President. I thought that the deadline for getting onto the ballot in Texas was 60 days from the election (though that may only be for governor), but it would amuse me greatly if there were only like 4 votes cast in Texas, but the Libertarians managed to get the 37 Texas electoral votes.
