Not really spoilerish, but i'm not sure since i'm still only in the frickin prologue!!! (curse you, real life)

Anyway, after his Guards tie Jarid Sarand to a tree and leave, the last sentence says, "Behind them in the night, their lord whimpered, alone, as the ghosts began to move through the camp."

Is this literal or metaphorical?

Literal, presumably, like the ghosts in previous books.

I would say more about my feelings of how Brandon handled the dead/ghosts in AMOL, but you might consider it a spoiler.
