I got to thinking about it this morning and i realized...

has anyone else noticed that rands continent looks alot like alaska? mainly the coasts, but also in that the yukon is kinda like a cold waste.

And the Sharans are Quebecois. That might actually make some sense.

tremalking could be hawaii and the sea folk like to luau which is why they are discribed as walking with graceful swaying. and the blight is the north pole where the earth spins slower. oh and there's oil up there, they were drilling for an alternate power sorce.

Well, Tremalking is AWFULLY close to the mainland for it to be Hawaii to the Westlands' Alaska.

I do think this is interesting, but is there enough space in Alaska for over a dozen nations?

More than likely Egwene. I mean she can see the Seanchan from the top of the White Tower, just like Palin can see Russia from her place.
