Hey Guys - I know I haven't had much time to be around Theoryland in the last few months. I'm not sure what it is, but my full-time and consulting work picks way up February through April. That being said, in preparation for JordanCon, I wanted to do another t-shirt as this is our 15th Anniversary and probably the last JordanCon I will attend for a few years.

And I'm happy to report that the t-shirt is done. This time around I decided to work with Isaac Stewart, the artist that helped me design the t-shirt, to sell/ship them...instead of you contacting me and me never getting around to sending you something. You can go take a look now at his online store at http://store.inkwing.com.

Thematically, I used the symbolic references of The Dusty Wheel as mentioned in Towers of Midnight using the wheel, window, and pipe (one of Jordan's actual pipes) to craft evoking the Wheel of Time Chapter Icon look, as though it were posted on a sign in front of the Inn.

We didn't do a huge first print, but we will do many more if there is demand And many of this first print have already been pre-purchased by those attending JordanCon. So, if you want one, go grab one now. If they are sold out, don't worry, we'll get more in soon thereafter.

I hope everyone is well and I look forward to seeing all of those that plan to attend JordanCon in a few days.

So, I did it - cheapskate that I am, and also long-time irritated with RJ's taking so long to finish the books, to the point that he never did. Ahem.
Anyway, I went to my friendly neighborhood library (is Brandon a member of this group? If so, sorry, Brandon) and borrowed a copy of the Final Book.

And by golly, it was a fine read! Enjoyed it thoroughly. Not sure everything got tied up, because my ancient brain doesn't remember everyone - but I enjoyed it as much as any of the previous books, and more than several. So there you have it. On Tam's t-shirt thread. I really do need to get to the next convention.

I enjoyed it too, and it frustrated me. And you should make one of the conventions. I think we'll be going out to JordanCon next year. Good to see you around these parts!

I had on my TL tshirt this weekend and some random guy yelled "Hard Core Fan" at me from a car. No idea who he was...but it doesn't say that anywhere on the shirt so he has to be a TL'er.

Anyone want to fess up? Michiganders from here are not super close to me, so I am not sure who it was...or if it was just a Lurker.

:D

I can tell you now that it wasn't me. No siree. Nope. Not a chance. :roll eyes:

Seriously, though. It wasn't me.

And there's nobody around me who would recognize the shirt. :( Well, Dom might. But what are the chances of that happening? :p

I found out who it was...a lurker. A lurker who apparently NEVER posts here, but reads FRICKIN everything.

I find that...stalker-ish, funny, and a little bit unnerving to think there are others like him.

According to Wikipedia, the NSA has over 30,000 employees. Every one of whom is undoubtedly avidly following these boards.

Expect an international arrest warrant for your stalker real soon; he shouldn't have gone public.
