I was bored and skimming through the predictions (http://www.theoryland.com/predictions.php?func=1), and thought I'd share a few gems. :)

On Aviendha:

ok this one is a little out ther. i think avi's children will be born conjoined twins or chimeric conjoined twins that will be able to wield both halves of the one power. elayne said that something would be odd. this is surely quite odd.

Aviendha's babies will be LTT's, conceived after LTT wins control of Rand's body (and before Alivia helps LTT, but not Rand, to die).

On the 'Finns:

The Aelfinn and Eelfinn will cut off communication with the "real" world after Mat's rescue of Moiraine for the next Age. The tower of Ghenji will disappear, and the door in Tear will find it's way under some kid's bed where the legend of the Boogeyman will be born.

On the Aiel:

We will find out the when the Aiel call themselves "the People of the Dragon" that it means that they are surviving blood of Lews Therin Kinslayer Telamon (sorry, but that's hilarious!)

I predict that Alana will die. The pain of her death will aide Cadsuaine in "teaching Rand to cry. (not sure what that has to do with the Aiel, but it was in that category)

On Aram:

Aram is obviously Moridin. He will be at the Last Battle and will kill everyone, including himself. Sort of like a cult death

Aram, realizing that the Way of the Perrin just isn't right for his flamboyant Tinker-turned bad lifestyle, embraces the Way of the Ogier, creating new inroads into an Aiel/Ogier joint partnership in the used ter'angreal business.

On Aran'gar:

Aran'gar will be the inspiration for power-wrought trans-gender modification in the fourth age. This will overshadow any historical references to her as one of the forsaken.

Arangar will be exposed by Nynaevae and Daigain who will travel to the rebel camp when they know Egwene is captured. Nynaeve can sense Arangar channeling saidin and Daigain will of course recognize her. (for the bolded bit)

I also believe she is Asmodean. When I read Wot the first time it just seemed right

On Birgitte:

I predict Birgitte will realize Mat is Gaidal Cain and marry him after Tuon dies. Further, I predict Elayne will scare the living daylights out of them both that same night.

i think charlz guybon is gaidal cain. birgitte likes him alot, and his initials are the same. hes also a warrior and i think i remember other similarities, i dont have the books at hand though.

On Cadsuane:

Is Moiraines mother and will help Thom save moiraine. She will also help Rand become more open about his feelings. I am Mad

Cadsuane is either a powerful darkfriend or moghedien. she legitamately tried to sell out morianne and kill her cause of finding the dragon and helped kill the Amyrlin before suian.

On Damer Flinn:

Will be bonded by Romanda hahahaha, next...

Damer Flinn and Nynaeve will work together to Heal something fantastic, possibly saving Rand from the brink of death after his confrontation with the Dark One. Then Flinn will change the spelling of his last name. Made me lmao, because Tam spelled it "Flynn" for the category heading...go Muttley! (Muttley has several good predictions, btw.)

He is in fact Lanfear/Cyndane in desguise

On the Dark One:

I predict Dark One will find a soul mate. They will settle down and become the Dark Two. Good one, Fel! (Where has Fel been?)

My Theory is that the Dark One is a Female. Rand is the avatar of the creator and is male, he has sworn never to harm any more females, when the Last Battle is at the culminating point he will find that the avatar of the Dark One is Female and will not be able to destroy her. A female Dark One has tainted only the male half of the one power because she did not want to foul the half of the one power that she derives her power from.

On Demandred:

I predict that Demandred will turn out to be Min. Disturbing as may be but RJ has made it quite obvious throughout hints in various interviews. Itīs the part he refers to as the "gasp" moment in book 12. Eeeww...

I predict that Demandred will be revealed to be Halwin Norry. That's right, boring old Master Norry, conveniently in charge of the accounts of Andor, and close to Elayne. Also, he's so boring no one would ever expect it. Hahahahahahaha

Demandred is Mazrim Taim. Nothing can convince me otherwise. It's so obvious that it has to be true. hahahaha

Okay, that's enough for now. :)

On Egwene:

I predict that Egwene will fortell in one of her dreams that Rand al'thor will die at the hands of Cadsuane.
I believe that Bela will be in the last scene with Egwene.
The vision that Egwene sees of flying objects landing over the White Tower are not the Seanchan but are an attacking body of Drakhar. They are very effective when dealing with Sisters.
Egwene will be turned to the Shadow, and Rand will have to kill her to survive, and win the Last Battle.
Egwene will sleep with halima.
Egwene is under the Dark One's control, or maybe she's a really evil person from the AoL and has been reincarnated, kind of like Mat, but she is evil. This explains why she sometimes thinks she knows the old tongue.
On Elaida:

I think Elaida will bow down to the rebel aes-sedai, their is a lot of information that Alvarian has held back from her. Upon learning what has really been happening in the world she will feel foolish and begin learning the truth possibly changing Ajah to reflect this. hahahahahaha, next...

She will not be punished for her actions against the Amyrlin. Her efforts in rooting out the BA in the tower will compensate, and she will dislodge the stick up her bum. She will be pleasant and a friend to Egwene, advisor to Elayne, and come out on her crush on Moiraine.
Will kill alviaran and then be commended to stilling and Death (for funny spelling)

On Elayne:

Elayne will bond and possibly marry Charlz Guybon. He is mentioned in Elaynes POV as so handsome and as demonstrated in aKoD as willing to lay down his life to save her Vs the DF AS to resuce her, and to a certain extant I think Brigitte trusts him, and also she will never be able to marry Rand as he is to Earth Shattering a personality and he has to fade into obscurity after TG, yet Andor needs a male figure in its royal family. Earth Shattering, eh?

I Predict That Elayne will make a Ter'angreal that will grow Rand's hand back thus completing Mins Viewing "a bloody hand and white-hot iron" er, uh?

Elayne's kids will be kidnapped by the shadow and since the prophecies say that the dragons blood will stain the rocks of shaol ghul, it could in fact be Rand's offsprings blood. Morbid, but possible and well setup. Some people will go to any length to avoid Rand dying...

Elayne will finally be done with her bath after Rand, Mat, and Perrin are in the LB. And where has Bane been?

Elayne will repair the female Choedan Kal using the two broken ones (the one at the palace and the one Rand found) to make one complete one. Too bad Crossroads of Twilight came out a year before this was posted...

More later. :)

I could almost see this one happening (except for the last part of course).

Yes, I was originally going to point out Tam's spelling problems as one of the funny bits...but you did it for me. :D

Thank you, thank you, Terez. That was one of the best reads I have had in days. It brought many out loud chuckles and giggles from me.

Now I understand why I have been reluctant to make predictions here. hehe

"I do, sort of, respect those who are willing to put it all on the line to predict what an author like RJ will dream up."

Ha, I skipped over most of them that were just funny because they were unlikely. These were sort of special. :)

I'm broken hearted over this. Are we certain there is no possible way that Demandred can Mazrim Taim?

I know, even RJ said he wasn't, but, but, but....

Yup, Winter's Heart pretty much confirmed it, even if RJ hadn't. Don't get Gonzo started...

i've thought demandred being taim was a bit too simple all along. never bought it. besides...there were prior people that knew taim before he came to rand's service. i also think that RJ initially toyed with the idea of taim being demandred, and set it up early so that it could go either way, depending on what he wanted to do later.

still, i think demandred is posing as some lowly ashaman. he's smart enough to not be in a high visibility position.

just like i think mesaana is not posing as AS, but instead either a novice/accepted, or some sort of non-channeling administrator.

I doubt Demandred is posing as any one person, if anyone at all. There's nothing to indicate that his plans require him to pose as anyone.

JHMO - but i think he's posing as someone somewhere. moridin has everyone else in a specific role now. i'm sure he's got demandred reined in as well in some fashion.

it makes sense especially since demandred has obviously had some sort of role with taim, the ashaman, etc. that he would be tucked away somewhere able to supervise those he has under his sway and still carry out whatever moridin has set him too.

in that vein of thought, at the BT makes the most sense to me. maybe he's the cook.

(okay...bad steven seagal reference...but i liked under seige...:D )
