uhm I did not read the entire thread, but not everything someone does needs to be a corrective mechanism.

threads are woven, depending on choices you walk along on thread or another. But when the tapestry becomes under strain the wheel sends in the corrective mechanisms i.e. heroes and taveren. My guess is that the hero is the minor corrective mechanism and the taveren the major one.
