Denzel's books?

Have anyone read Jason Denzel's (Dragonmount) Mystic books?

Thoughts about them?

I thought only the first one was out yet. Last year he accompanied Harriet on the tour for the WoT companion, so I got a signed copy of Mystic.

I found it not a bad book, but it felt a bit like some generic fantasy book. IIRC, he is targetting YA, but still the plot twist can be seen coming from 20 miles or so.

I really liked it, but being a first novel and only a few 100 pages, it's obviously not the new WoT. :)

This isn't neccessarily a bad thing, though. :)
