Default RJ's trip to Russia

So yesterday I went hunting for Russian WoT covers (I'm trying to put together a collection of all foreign covers), and in the process stumbled across some Russian interviews with RJ. It seems like RJ and Harriet went to St. Petersburg in late 2000, where RJ attended a local sci-fi/fantasy con. This was right before Winter's Heart came out.

The interviews with RJ are in Russian but mostly readable through Google Translate.

1. http://www.fantlab.ru/article40 - RJ on his early life, fantasy ("If you want to write fantasy - go see a psychiatrist!"), and writing in general. He mentions wanting to write a book about the Vietnam War and publishing it under his real name.

2. http://www.fantlab.ru/article46 - RJ talks about warfare and world history.

Lois McMaster Bujold was also a guest at the same con and wrote a lengthy trip report where she briefly mentions going sightseeing with RJ and Harriet and doing signings together. I found it a bit TL;DR, but it was the only English report of the event I could find and provided some background information on the con.
